In August 2019, WestJet Airlines, based out of Calgary, Canada, announced that it has added Roatan, Honduras to its growing list of direct flights out of Toronto. Starting December 15, 2019 the airline will offer weekly non-stop flights from Lester B. Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport in Coxen Hole, Roatan, Honduras.
